Objectivepsychosomatic disease is a series of body diseases that is closely-related to mental state factor in its occurrence, development, variety, and diabetes mellitus is one of it .This research is on the basis of theory that mental state factor infects body and study the influence and mechanism about emotion causes on DM and the regulatory action to rats of composite formula Xinshen NO.5 . MethodOn the basis of the theories of TCM about emotion casused disease and the modern physiological-psychological medicine , the rat models of DM disease pattern are made by absominal injecting little dosage of STZ at the same time cooperating adipose diet. On the basis , impose irregular photoelectricity stimulation. The experiment animals are divided into five groups: normal group, normal +stressgroup. DM group. DM +stress group and treatment group by Chinese herbs. Each group is checked the level of blood glucose-. serum insulin .. serum glucagons-. serum ACTH and the transcriptional level of mRNA of GLUTS and GR . At the same time we observed the change of pancreas histomorphology and macro-performance. Result1. The blood glucose level of the rat models of DM is higher than the normal models, the index is obvious (P<0.01).And the level is on high stand that its mean value is 25.3mmol/l.2. Emotional stimulation can increase the serum blood of normal station rat obviously , compared the normal station group the index is obvious. In the DM station , the change of ACTH is not obvious.3.Acute stress and chronic stress can make the DM rat's serum insulin level decreased, and Xinshen NO.5 can increase it. The chronic stress can increase the level of the blood glucose and Xinshen NO.5 can decrease it. As a whole, the level of serum glucagons in the DM station is higher than the normal station.4 . As a whole , the transcriptional level of protein of the normal station is higher thanthe DM station. In the acute stress station , the transcriptional level of mRNA of GLUTS and protein of it about the normal+sress group is higher than the normal group. In the DM station and the chronic stress station, the transcriptional level of mRNA of GLUTS and protein of it about the DM+stress group is lower than the DM group. The transcriptional level of protein of GR about the DM station is lower than it of normal station.Conclusion1.. On the basis of the DM caused by many factors , making DM and Qi-ji disorder syndrome model by imposing irregular photoelectricity stimulation on the DM station rat ,which has the characters of increasing blood glucose, decreasing serum insulin % increasing serum glucagon and macro-performance .2. Emotion can inspire hypothalamus pituitary adrenal gland axis and the autonomic nerves adrenal gland axis, but the DM rat's blood glucose level is so high that make lowly reaction to the stress.3. In the chronic stress and DM station , the emotion stimulation can decrease the protein of GLUTS, but the mechanism between GLUTS and the blood glucose is going to do more research. In the DM station , Xinshen NO. 5 can increase the expression of the protein of GR and meliorate DM.4. Xinshen NO. 5 can strong the DM rat reaction to the emotion stimulation and can regulate the level of blood glucose and insulin , which may be basis on the regulation of hypothalamus pituitary adrenal gland axis.
