Clinical Study On The Penetrating Needle In Treating Stubborn Stroke-hemiplegia

Study Background: Stroke-hemiplegia shows high rate of attack, death and disability, the prevention and treatment of which is an important subject on medicine and society for it's terrible harm to people's health. Penetrating needle in treating stroke-hemiplegia is good with convenience, availability, cheapness In order to study the effect of penetrating needle in treating this disease more systematically , comprehensively and objectively, the following context was divided into two parts,the literature investigation and clinical experiment research. 1. Literature investigationTracing the originals, from the appearance of Yellow Emperior's Internal Medicine as the first classical works of traditional Chinese medicine to the dynasties of Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing, the predecessors had done much to ancient medical books in the aspects of the stroke's term, etiology, pathogenesis and therapy.The article summarized the condition of the acupuncture in treating stroke-hemiplegia and penetrating needle in the late years. All that has been done founds the theorical basis of further studying penetrating needle in treating stroke-hemiplegia. 2.Experimental research ObjectiveTo objectively evaluate the clinical effect of penetrating needle in treating stroke-hemiplegia with the main symptoms,the main clinical damaged level of the nerve functions and the ability of the every day life. MethodThe study was prospective and random controlled.Sixty patients with stroke-hemiplegia were divided into two groups in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM:penetrating needle group and common acupuncture group.Investigating the patients' main symptoms, the main clinical damaged level of the nerve functions and the ability of the everyday life in the two groups.Results(1)The curing rate, the better rate and the all effective rate in the penetrating needle...
