| Objective:Peri-implantitis was the common name to the pathologic status of the implant and its circum tissue. It was a commonly infectious disease caused by bacteria and regarded as one of the loading factors of the lossing of the implants.The effects of traditional treatment were certainly but side effects were inevitabale. In light of maintain subgingival microflora balance of peri-implant and the distant effect of the implant denture , we observed the effect of lactobacillus DM9811 culture on the clinical indices and subgingival microflora of peri-implantitis so as to search for a biologic agents based on safe,effective and no side effects for Peri-implantitis. Methords:16 cases with pei-implantitis ( PD ≥4,GI ≥1 ) was selected.The cases were randomly divided into test group and contrast group.The gargle of lactobacillus DM9811 culture was applied to the patients while pure water was applied in the contrast group.The data including clinical indices and microbiological parameters was collected before and on the 3th,7th,30thday after the therapy. In addition,8 cases of healthy implant were selected as the clinical indices and microbiological parameters to evaluate the result of the gargle of lactobacillus DM9811 culture. Results:(1)Effect on the clinical results: there was a distinct reduce of mPLI,GI,mBI and PD after treatment in study group (p<0.05); there was a distinct discrepancy between study and contrast group (p<0.05). There was no ill effect after treatment both in study group and contrast group. (2)Effect on the subgingival microflora results: there was a distinct reduce of P.g and P.i after treatment in study group (p<0.05); there was a distinct discrepancy between study and contrast group (p<0.05). There was a distinct increase of Streptococcus oralis and Streptococcus mutans after treatment in study group (p<0.05); there was a distinct discrepancy between study and contrast group (p<0.05). There was no distinct discrepancy of lactobacillus between before treatment and after treatment in study group and between study and contrast group. Conclusion:(1)Lactobacillus DM9811 Metabolite can improve the clinical indices of the peri-implantitis.(2) Lactobacillus DM9811 Metabolite has the function of restaining P.g ,P.i and nurturing Streptococcus oralis so as to adjust the subgingival microflora balance of peri-implant.(3)The effect of Lactobacillus DM9811 Metabolite on peri-implantitis is significant. |
