ObjectiveTo discuss the early value of femoral artery intima - media thickness and braohial artery endothelium - dependent dilation measured with ultrasound in the diagnosis of peripheral arterial disease of type 2 diabetic patients and the relationships between the blood suger , lipids and lower limb arterial disease.MethodsForty - six type 2 diabetic patients were divided into two groups according to lower limb vascular complication and compared with normal controls twenty -four cases. IMT and flow mediated dilation ( FMD) were detected by ColourDop-pler flow imaging. PG,TG,TC,HDL,LDL in plasma were tested for every case in the fasting state and compared with each group.ResultsIMT of femoral artery were increased and there were no significant differ-ences(P<0. 05) in diabetic patients without lower limb complication and normal controls, but FMD were significant decreased (P <0.01). Meanwhile,FMD was negative correlated with age of the diabetic patients (r= - 0.421, P < 0.05) and was significant negative correlated with IMT( r = - 0.745, P < 0.05). each...
