The Study On The Expression Of Estrogen Receptor α,Estrogen Receptor β,Progesterone Receptor B And Estrogen-induced Protein In Endometriosis And Adenomyosis | | Posted on:2006-03-25 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:F Huang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2144360152998804 | Subject:Gynecology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective To detect the expression of estrogen receptor α (ERα), estrogen receptor β (ERβ), progesterone receptor B (PRB) and estrogen-induced protein (pS2) of endometriosis and adenomyosis. Methods A total of 266 tissues samples were used in this study, including 67 samples of ectopic endometrium and 53 samples of eutopic endometrium of patients with endometriosis, and 57 samples of ectopic and eutopic endometriums of patients with adenomyosis, and 32 samples of normal endometrium tissues, Using streptavidin -biotin peroxidase (SP) method of the immunohistochemistry, We examined the expression of the ERα, ER β, PRB, pS2 in these tissues. Statistical analysis was performed by using SPSS 11.0 statistics software.Result 1. The expression of ER α, ER β, PRB and PS2 protein in normal endometriums, eutopic endometriums and ectopic endometrium tissues of endometriosis all have significant diffrence (p<0.01). The expression level of ER α, ERβ and PRB in three group above have significant diffrence (p<0.01). The expression levels of ERα, ERβ, PRB in ectopic endometrium tissues lower than that in normal endometrium tissues and eutopic endometrium tissues.2. The expression of ER α,PRB and PS2 protein in normal endometriums, eutopic endometriums and ectopic endometrium tissues of adenomyosis all have significant diflrence (p<0.05). The expression of ER β protein in three group above has no diffrence (p>0.05). The expression level of ER α, ER β and PRB in three group above have significant diffience (p<0.01). The expression levels of ERα, ER β, PRB in ectopic endometrium tissues lower than that in normal endometrium tissues and eutopic endometrium tissues. The expression levels of ER α protein in eutopic endometrium tissues higher than that in normal endometrium tissues, the expression levels of ER α protein in two group above have significant difirence 0X0.05).3.pS2 was strongly associated with the expression of ERα, ERβ and PRB protein (p<0.05).4.The expression of ER α, ERβ, pS2 was related to the activity of endometriotic tissues (p<0.05).5.There was no obvious correlation between the stage of endometriosis and heir expression level (p>0.05).Conclusions 1. ERα, ERβ,PRB, pS2 may play important roles in the development of endometriosis and adenomyosis.2. The pS2 has relative associate with the expression of the protein of ER α and ER β in endometriosis and adenomyosis tissues.3.The expression of pS2 in eutopic and ectopic endometrium tissues higher than that in normal endometriums normal demonstrated endometriosis and adenomyosis are oestrogen-dependent disease. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | endometriosis, adenomyosis, ERα, ERβ, PRB, pS2, immunohistochemistry | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
