Studies On The Component, Content Determination And Pharmacodynamics Of Physalis Alkekengi

Physalis alkekengi is persistent calyx with fruits or the dried persistent calyx of physalis alkekengi L. var. franchetii (Mast.)Makino. The persistent calyx is bitter and the fruits are sweet and slight acidic. It has the function of clearing away heat and toxic materials, relieving sore-throat and is proved to have obvious clinical effect.We got four compounds from Physalis alkekengi through isolation, two of which were new compounds and identified their structure through spectrum methods, named them as alkekengilin A,B; Carrying on pharmacological activity screening test of these four compounds, It showed that they all had the restrain function of mouse ears' swollen caused by xylene, rat feet' swollen caused by albumen and pain reaction of mouse caused by heat. It also has the obvious restrain function of staphylococcus aureus, strep, Escherichia coli and Bacillus proteus. We carried on content determination of Physalis alkekengi and it's extract to supply the experimental basis for the development of it.
