Method: Observe the symptoms, signs; analyze the characteristics of MRI and the value to diagnosis; the effect of surgical treatment and prognosis. Results: (1) age ranges from 14 to 57, group of 10 to 30 has higher incidence; (2) young patients seem to have more severe symptoms and more aggressive behavior, and the prognosis is not good; (3) MRI examination plays an important role in the diagnosis of BAN, and provides essence information in following the patients back home; (4) The patients resected more than one time had less injury and bigger chance to preserve nerve VII and VIII. Conclusions: (1) Bilateral acoustic neuroma is the hallmark of NF2, which has lower incidence, the severe type has early and rapid progression; (2) Hearing loss, tinnitus are the main and early presentation of NF2; (3) MRI plays an important role in diagnosis and monitoring tumor growth of non-operation side; (4) We have higher rate to preserve nerve VII and VIII in the patients who receive operation by stages or one side operation the other γknife.
