Human maligant glioma, which is the common primary tumor occurring in central nervous system, about 43%-60% of the tumor inside the cranium, as to it's cure remain important unresolve oncological challlenge in the neurosurgery field. Up to time, The main therapy for glioma is synthesis operation including radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The total resection is a good way. However glioma grows infiltratively which can't be resected completely so the recurrence rate remains high. The traditional radiotherapy is ineffective to the low radio sensitive tumor cells, the chemotherapy purpose is to increase cell toxicity to kill the tumor cell, but specification is lower and normal cells damage will be unavoidable, thus affecting the chemotherapy result, Generally speaking the current chemotherapy have severe side effecta. It remain unradical cure. In the last 20 years, the survival period is only 11 month for patients without obvious improvement. Ginsenoside Rh2 isolated from the Chinese medical herb ginseng has good anti-tumor perspective and has key advantages include: molecular weight is low, can pass across the blood-brain barrier, may improve the cellular function, has no cell toxicity. Some reseach show that the changes of apoptosis induced by paclitaxel with Ginsenoside Rh2 blocking caspase pathway and the mechanisms of caspase...
