Fungi are playing a more and more important role in infective diseaes with the increasing of using immunocompromised drugs, organ transplantation and AIDS. And the proportion of fungal infections in nosocomial infective dieases are increasing dramatically. But the techniques which can be used to diagnosis the mycosis early are limited, the key point to control the fungal infections is preservation. The contact between the medical workers and between the medical workers and the patients are unevitabally. And the medical workers use a lot of hospital materials in their work. In order to answer the question that if these things are the propagative intermediary of pathogenic bacterium, people did a lot of studies. At present, there are the reports about the ability of some medically important yeast, such as Candida albicans to survive on common hospital materials, such as plastic and fiber. As for the investigate of the survival of common dermatophytes and deep pathogenic bacterium on hospital materials, the report is rarely. The purpose of this study is to answer the question that if the common pathomycete can live on hospital materials, if the time that different kinds of fungus living on hospital materials are same, the time that fungus live ondifferent kinds of hospital materials are same and the time that fungus live on hospital materials are same in different months. We select eight pathomycetes that we collected from the patients. After been activated, they were inoculated to five kinds of common hospital materials individually. We tested the ability to live and the survival time. The observation time is thirty days. We find that every kind of fungus can live on every kind of hospital material. But the time is different. And the time that fungus live on the hospital materials in different months are different. The average time that fungus live on scobinate and hadro-hydrating material is longer than the average time that fungus live on the material which surface is mooth and is short of hydration.
