Object Evaluate whether Lipo-PGE1 has the protective effect in fatty liver ischemia/reperfusion injury. Mathod Feeding rat with a diet high in fat and cholesterol induced moderate to severe nonalcoholic fatty liver, and build orthotopic liver transplantation models. Treating group was administrated with Lipo-PGEl. The content of MDA and activity of SOD, the enzyme activeities of ALT and LDH were detected. In addition, histological study was performed. Result Compared with normal liver group, the content of MDA was increased and the activity of SOD was less significantly, the enzyme activeities of ALT and LDH were increased in fatty liver group. Treating group have lower content of MDA and higher activity of SOD than those in fatty liver group, enzyme activities of ALT and LDH were significantly less in treating group. Conclusion Pretreatment with Lipo-PGE1 and applying Lipo-PGE1 in preservation fluid may alleviate I/R injury and improve the function of fatty liver graft.
