Objective: To explore Shengjing Soluble Granules' effects on semen parameters and HSP70 expression in seminal plasma of patients with idiopathic oligo/asthenospermia. Reveal relationship between HSP70 and idiopathic oligo/asthenospermia and molecular biology mechanism of Shengjing Soluble Granules' improving spermatogenic function. Methods: We treated 30 patients with idiopathic oligo/idiopathic asthenospermia by using the Shengjing Soluble Granules for 3 months. Before and after treatment, we examined HSP70 expression in seminal plasma and sperm count, sperm motility. Results: â‘ After treatment, sperm count and sperm motility were higher than pre-treatment (p<0. 05). â‘¡ Before treatment, HSP70 expression was far lower than normal fertility males and there was distinct difference between them (p<0. 01). d> After treatment, HSP70 expression increased in patients' seminal plasma with idiopathic oligo/idiopathic asthenospermia. The HSP70 expression was positively correlative to sperm count and sperm motility. Conclusion: Shengjing Soluble Granules could improve idiopathic oligo/asthenospermia patients' sperm count and sperm motility. Low expression of HSP70 may be related to idiopathic oligo/asthenospermia. Shengjing Soluble Granules could improve patients' spermatogenic function by raising HSP70 expression in seminal plasma of patients with idiopathic oligo/asthenospermia.
