Purpose: To study the effect of Shengjing san on male infertility withasthenospermia. We hope to certify that Shengjing san is helpful to male infertility withasthenospermia without side effect by analyzing the differences of sperm and seminalplasma before and after the treatment with Shengjing san. Hoping this research will begood to the further study.Methods:86patients were departed into4groups stochasticly:23were in Shengjingsan group, they took Shengjing san three times a day and one day with2.3grams;21werein levocarnitine group, they took levocarnitine three times a day and one day with onegrams;21were in placebo group, they took placebo as Shengjing san;21were in vacantgroup, they just needed to drink more water and had a good rest. There are3indexes: theconcention of sperm, the vigor of semen and the seminal plasma. To analyse the threeindexes before and after a period of30days’ treatment.Results: The former two groups do have a better effect on the basis of statistics. Theirsperms of rank a and b improved a lot than before. Compared with before, the seminalplasma α-glycosidase, seminal plasma fructose and seminal plasma zinc improved a loton the basis of statistics in Shengjing san group. So as the seminal plasma α-glycosidaseand seminal plasma zinc in levocarnitine group. There was no significance in statistics inthe other two groups. The correlation analysis told us that the sperms of rank a were relatedto the seminal plasma α-glycosidase and seminal plasma zinc, the sperms of rank b wereclosely related to the seminal plasma α-glycosidase and seminal plasma fructose, the sperm motility was closely related to the seminal plasma α-glycosidase, seminal plasmafructose and seminal plasma zinc.Conclusions: Proving the relativity between the sperm motility and seminal plasmaα-glycosidase, seminal plasma fructose and seminal plasma zinc.And we learned thatShengjing san could improve the secreting function of male’s accessory glands so as toproduce more seminal plasma α-glycosidase, seminal plasma fructose and seminalplasma zinc, so the sperm motility would be better. According to all the above, we can sayShengjing san has a good effect on male infertility with asthenospermia.
