Objective Stanniocalcin (STC) is a kind of glycoprotein hormone,which was found primarily in teleostean and lately in hunman beings and mammals.It can adjust the balance of calcium and phosphate by kidney and intestinal system.It also plays an important role in promoting the ending differentiation of the brain neuron,avoiding the damage of brain neuron which was caused by the local shortage of blood and the growth of bones and muscles.The lately research indicates that, STC was of virtural importance in the process of the occur and growth of the human tumor. The imperceptible analysis of the cDNA shows that STC1 up shifts in the primary liver cancer, whereas it down shifts in ovary cancer and galactophore cancer.However, STCl and STC2 are both expressed in the ER positive galactophore cancer. The expression of STC2 was abducted by estrogen. The tumor-restrain-gene BRCA1 can make STC1 up shift.This article mainly discuss on the relationship between the expression of target gene human stanniocalcin-I(hSTC-I) and the stomachcancer and liver cancer in different phases.It aims at discussing the relativity between them and the relationship among the clinical type, stages of pathology and transfer. We can learn about the expression of STCl in different tumor sufferers in order to find out the basis according to the degree of malignant tumor and the prognosis.lt also discuss that whether STCl could be used on the clinical sufferers as a new tumor marker,improve the diagnosis rate of the digestive system cancer and provide the experimental basis of the forepart diagnosis, forepart therapy and the judgement of prognosis.Methods: Collect the vein blood and separate single nucleus cell. The expression level of the hSTC-1 gene might be seen as thetumor marker of the gastric cancer and the liver cancer. And it is closely relate to the differentiation degree and the transfer of the tumor.
