The Relationship Between TCM Differentiation Syndromes Of Type 2 Iabetes Mellitus And Lipid Metabolic Disturbance & Cerebral Infarction

Background: The macroangiopathy of Type 2 diabetes has something to do with the artherosclerosis caused by the factors such as a high blood sugar, high blood pressure ,high blood lipid,high blood stickiness of the insuline resistance. but in numerous factors the lipid metablic disturbance rises more important function.Objective: To abserve the relationship between the TCM syndromes and Lipid Metabolic Disturbance , Cerebral Infarction, which will provide index to treat diabetes and rise its macroangiopathy.Materials and methods: According to WHO diagnosis criteria and TCM differentiation criteria, we selected 122 cases. TCM syndromes include Yin deficiency and heat excess syndrome ( YDHES, 11 female and 12 male) including 5 cases are cerebral infarction complications(CIC). Qi and Yin deficiency syndrome ( QYDS, 21female and 16 male) including 8 cases are CIC. Yin and Yang deficiency syndrome ( YYDS, 9 female and 2 male) including 1 cases are CIC. Moist Heat deficiency syndrome (MHDS, 14 female and 19 male) including 17 cases are CIC. Stagnated blood deficiency syndrome (SBDS, 11 female and 7 male) including 10 cases are CIC. We detected totle cholesterol(TC), triglyceride (TG) and high density lipoprotein- cholesterol(HDL) by zymology, LDL(light density lipoprotein-cholesterol)= TC-HDL-TG/2.2(mmol/L); glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA₁C) by microclumu chromatography. And measure blood pressure in morning.Result: 1. Under the premise that keeping the age, blood pressures of 5 TCM Differentiation Syndromes whithout comparation. The degree of HbA₁C was as floow: MHDS and SBDS, DHES > QYDS, YYDS. The merge rate of CIC was as follow: MHDS and SBDS > YDHES, QYDS, YYDS. The degree of TC, TG, LDL was as floow: MHDS and QYDS, YDHES < YYDS. Compared with the healthy people and the type 2 diabetesmellitus whithout CIC, The TC\ TG^ LDL of the type 2 diabetes mellitus merging CIC were significantly higher, the lever of the HDL was lower. 2. The level of HbAiC was closely positive correlated to TC\ TG^ LDL(P<0.01) and negative correlated to HDL(P<0.05),But no correlated to CIC;TC^ TG^ LDL was closely positive correlated to CIC (P<0.01) and negative correlated to CIC (P<0.01).Conclusion: The higher of the degree of the Type 2 Diabetes's moist heat and stagnated blood, the more serious of the blood glues and the lipid metabolic disturbance, then The merge rate of CIC is higher.
