The Design Of Home Tele-healthcare System Based On Wireless Communication

With the developing of hospital information system, Building GMIS is becoming more and more important to hospital. Hospital want to strengthen management of relation with patient, and people want to get more convenient healthcare. There will be a widespread use of wireless communication in this field for its mobility and facility. This article introduces several wireless communication technologies, such as WLAN, Bluetooth, GPRS, CDMA 1x and 3G. Using the wireless application technologies, we design a wireless home healthcare system. The system including three parts: register, fellow-up, tele-ward. Adopting middleware and standard data format based on XML, the system is cross-platform.
