The Expression Of MMP-9 And TIMP-3 At Villus And Deciduous Of Early Abortion

Objective To study the position and expresses of MMP-9 and TIMP-3 at the villus and deciduous of the threatened abortion and medical abortion at early pregnancy;and the effect of MMP-9/TIMP-3 for sustaining the normal early pregnancy.Methods 90 early pregnancy women (the days of menelipsis less than 50 days) were collected, including artificial abortion, threatened abortion and medical abortion who without pregnancy complications. Apply immunohistochernistry technology and computer image analysis systems to analysis the expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-3 in the villus and deciduous of early pregnancy abortion.Results1. MMP-9 and TIMP-3 exhibited positive staining at the syneytiotrophoblast,cytotrophoblast and capillary endothelial cell of villus, decidual cell, glandular epithelium cell and vascular endothelial cell of deciduous.2. The expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-3 in the deciduous and villus of the control group and the threatened abortion group.2.1 The expression of MMP-9 in the deciduous and villus of the control group and the threatened abortion group.The expression of MMP-9 in the deciduous of the threatened abortion group is higher than the control group, the difference is significant (P<0.05). In thethreatened abortion group (+) dominated, accounting for 53.33%, in the control group (-) dominated, accounting for 53.57%.The expression of MMP-9 in the villus of the threatened abortion group is higher than the control group, the difference is significant (P<0.05). In the threatened abortion group (+), (++), (+++) are all account for 53.33%, in the control group (-) dominated, accounting for 39.29%.2.2 The expression of TIMP-3 in the deciduous and villus of the control group and the threatened abortion group.The expression of TIMP-3 in the deciduous of the two groups are (+) dominated, accounting for 46.44% in the control group, in the threatened abortion group accounting for 50%. There is no significant difference in the two groups (P>0.05).The expression of TIMP-3 in the villus of the two groups are (+)dominated, accounting for 46.43% in the control group, in the threatened abortion group accounting for 40%. There is no significant difference in the two groups (P>0.05).2.3 The quantitative analysis for the expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-3 in the deciduous and villus of the control group and the threatened abortion groupThrough quantitative analysis, The proportionality of MMP-9/TIMP-3 in the villus and deciduous of the threatened abortion group is higher than the control group . The expression of MMP-9/TIMP-3 in the deciduous of threatened abortion is 1.2702 + 0. 1537, the control group is 0.8634 + 0. 1571, in the villus of threatened abortion is 1.1530 + 0.1122, the control group is 0.8489+ 0. 1175. There is significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).3. The expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-3 in the deciduous and villus of the control group and the medical abortion group.3.1 The expression of MMP-9 in the deciduous and villus of the control group and the medical abortion group.The expression of MMP-9 in the deciduous of the medical abortion group is higer than the control group, the difference is significant (P<0.05). In the medical abortion group (+++) dominated, accounting for 57.14%, in the control group (-) dominated, accounting for 53.57%.The expression of MMP-9 in the villus of the medical abortion group is higher than the control group, the difference is significant (P<0.05). In the threatened abortion group (+++) dominated, accounting for 50%, in the control group (+) dominated, accounting for 39.29%.3.2 The expression of TIMP-3 in the deciduous and villus of the control group and the medical abortion group.The expression of TIMP-3 in the deciduous of the two groups are (+) dominated, accounting for 46.44% in the control group, in the medical abortion group accounting for 50%. There is no significant difference in the two groups (P>0.05).The expression of TIMP-3 in the villus of the two groups are (+) dominated, in the control group accounting for 46.43%. in the medical abortion group accounting for 60.71%. There is no significant difference in the two groups (P>0.05).3.3 The quantitative analysis for the expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-3 in the deciduous and villus of the control group and the medical abortion groupThe proportionality of MMP-9/TIMP-3 in the villus and deciduous of the medical abortion group is higher than the control group. The expression of MMP-9/TIMP-3 in the deciduous of medical abortion is 1.4826 + 0.4360, the control group is 0.8634 + 0. 1571, in the villus of medical abortion is 1.9677 +0.5453, the control group is 0.8489 + 0. 1175. There is significant differencebetween the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion1. The expression of MMP-9 in villus and deciduous of the threatened abortiongroup and the medical abortion group are all higher than the control group, which explain MMP-9 play an important role in the process of abortion.2. The proportionality of MMP-9/TIMP-3 in the villus and deciduous of the threatened abortion group and the medical abortion group are higher than the control group, which explain the balance of MMP-9 and TIMP-3 play an important role for sustaining the normal early pregnancy.
