Laser-induced fluorescence spectra of the serum of liver fibrosis rats, hepatocirrhosis patients and lung cancer patients are investigated in this paper. The purpose is to find difference between serum of the healthy and the disease to diagnose diseases by spectrum method. The application of laser-induced spectra on medicine as well as its history and present are summarized in this paper, fluorescence spectra of serum which contain 43 liver fibrosis rats,14 hepatocirrhosis patients ,17 lung cancer patients and 40 healthy people are excited by 488.0nm Ar-ion laser and collected in the range of 500nm-640nm. Peak position, intensity ratio and bandwidth are calculated in the paper. The main peak position of liver disease serum fluorescence spectra has some blue shift, and some characteristic peaks could be got in 508nm, 525nm, 556nm, 590nm, 614nm, 633nm in the range of 500nm-640nm using wavelet transform method, and the relative intensity ratio of I590/I556,I590/I510 is less than the healthy serum.Comparing with the healthy serum, the main peak position of lung cancer has some blue shift and broadened bandwidth, the relative intensity ratio of I590/Imax,I630,I630/Imaz reduced and the relative intensity ratio of I530/Imax mounted. It is considered that difference of spectra between the healthy and disease is due to the different relative concentration of fluorescence substance and the relative intensity ratio is a reflection of concentration ratio. Bilirubin, vitamin C, flavins, prophyrin, porphyrin derivation are included in the range of the collected spectrum. The results of the paper provide some reference for spectrum diagnose.
