Objective: Coronary heart disease(CHD) is known as a psychosomatic disease, it can not only threaten human's health severely, but also result in numerous death. CHD does not only contribute to somatic diseases and increasing professional pressure, but intensify social stresses and assumed emotions of individual and family. In order to relieve psychological pressure of CHD patients,improve life quality,promote clinical rehabilitation, and provide effective clinical nursing interventions for scientific theoretical basis, the goal of this study was to explore the relationship between anxiety,depression,social support and CHD for the sake of broaden clinical nursing perspectives by means of investigating and analyzing anxiety,depression condition of CHD patients.Methods: The investigation was conducted as descriptive and correlative research employing social support as conceptual framework. This study applied convenience sampling to sample 100 CHD cases they met the inclusive and exclusive norms and were hospitalized in Second Hospital of SanXi Medical University, then, we undertook a questionnaire survey of these subjects. Study tools included CHD Patients Basic Condition Scale,Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS) and Social Support-rating Scale(SSRS). The data were analyzed using T-tests,Chi-square test and Pearson correlation. Scores of anxiety and depression between CHD patients and domestic normal people were compared through the use of t-tests, and pearson correlation for condition of patients'anxiety,depression and social support. After offered effective social support interventions to CHD patients, we performed scores of anxiety,depression comparison between intervention group and control group using t-tests.Results: 1.Obvious anxiety was present in 69 percent of CHD patients, obvious depression in 84 percent, among them, obvious anxiety in combination with obvious depression in 63 percent. 2.The patients with CHD had significantly higher level of anxiety,depression condition than domestic normal people.
