Objective: Adipose tissue is currently considered as a hormonally active system in the control of metabolism and not only as a store of excess energy. It's found that adipocytes produce and secrete a variety of biologically active molecules, conceptualized as adipocytokines. Adiponectin is a recently discovered adipocytokine which is specifically expressed in white adipose tissue. Many studies show that it is found to be decreased in patients with obesity ,type 2 diabetes , cardiovascular disease.Adiponectin may have anti-atherogenic, anti-inflammatory and anti-neointimal proliferationproperties. The objective of this study is to explore the changes of adiponectin, high sensitive C-reactive protain(hsCRP), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) ,interleukin-6(IL-6) in impaired glucose regulation(IGR) patients , type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) the correlation between inflammators mediators and adiponectin, and further more, analyse the relationship between the serum levels of adiponectin inflammatory mediators and type 2 diabeties development. Methods: 65 patients were selected for this study,They were divided into three groups based on duration development: impaired glucose regulation(IGR) group, type 2 diabetes(A)...
