Analysis The Prognostic Factors Of Esophageal Cancer Teeated By Three-dimensional Conformal Radiotherapy

Objective: To analysis the relationship between the therapeatic effects and the dose distribution of target by three dimensional conformal treatment planning system.To evaluate the lately effect,the radiation side eftects and the prognosis of oesophageal carcinoma treated by three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT).Methods: From October 2000 to December 2003,55 patients have revieved the definitive radiotherapy and eligible for the analysis. In all patients, 24 patients were treated by 3D-CRT to a total dose 50Gy — 70Gy/25 — 35f , median dose 66Gy.3-DCRT scheme was constituted by CT scans, the images were transferred through local network to the treatment planning system (CMS Focus 3.0) and reconstructed by TPS. The gross tumor volume (GTV). clinical target volume (CTV), planning target volume (PTV) and organs at risk (OAR) , and the draining field of lymph were outlined basing on the findings of esophagogram , esophagoscopy and CT scaning images.The other 31 patients accepted conventional radiotherapy(CRT) before 3D-CRT, CRT scheme was constituted by simulator, givien two or three fields, this phase prescriped dose was 20-36Gy/10—18f, then adding dose by 3D-CRT,the total dose was...
