Objective: According to the results of the ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, essential hypertension (EH) can be classified"dipper"and"no dipper"type. The patients with"no dipper"essential hypertension have more complications in heart, brain and kidney. Some researches were reported that the artery endothelial dysfunction will be observed even, at the early stage of essential hypertension. Endothelial function is closely related to the pathogenesis of essential hypertension. This study is to investigate the relationships between the different type of essential hypertension and brachial artery endothelial-dependent vasodilatation function, detecting the clinic meaning of the rule on endothelial- dependent vasodilatation function changing.Method: 46 patients with essential hypertension were included in this study (Systolic blood pressure≥140mmHg and/or Diastolic blood pressure≥90mmHg), excluding secondary hypertension, diabetes mellitus, coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, heart failure, renal diseases, liver diseases and connective tissue disease. Age, patient history, body mass index, plasma glucose and total cholesterol were evaluated. All of the patients were evaluated using ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and the parameters to be acquired include 24h mean systolic blood pressure(24hSBP), 24h mean diastolic blood pressure(24hDBP), daytime mean systolic blood pressure(dSBP), daytime mean diastolic blood pressure(dDBP), nighttime systolic blood pressure(nSBP), nighttime diastolic blood pressure(nDBP), 24h systolic blood pressure loading, 24h diastolic blood pressure loading. According to the results of the ambulatory...
