Objective: 1. To investigate the relationship between the transcription expression of RASSFIA mRNA and oncogenesis, development of ovarian cancer were found by measuring the loss RASSFIA (Ras association domain family 1A gene) expression in ovarian cancer and peritoneal fluid.2. To discuss the epigenetic inactivation mechanism of the RASSFIA in ovarian cancer and evaluate the value of RASSFIA in diagnosis and estimation prognosis by examining the promoter methylation of RASSFIA in ovarian cancer and peritoneal fluid.Methods: 1. RT-PCR was used to detect the expression of RASSF1A ovarian tumor tissues and ascites (or flushing fluid of peritoneal cavity) in 42 malignant ovarian tumor, 11 normal ovarian tissues and 19 benign ovarian tumor tissues.2.
