| Object: To observe the therapeutic efficacy of Yishenzhuanggu mixture in treating Senile Diabetic Osteoporosis. Methods: 60 patients diagnosed Senile Diabetic Osteoporosis were randomly classified into two groups. There were 30 patients treated with Yishenzhuanggu mixture in treated group, others were treated with Shen-gu Capsule in control group. Three months were a course of treatment. Result: Yishenzhuanggu mixture could degrade blood sugar and heighten bone mineral density(BMD). The difference was significant compared to the control group(P<0.05);Meanwhile, the effect of the treated group was obviously better than the control group in improving clinical symptoms(P<0.05).Both of the medicines could degrade the uric calcium/creatitine notably. Conclusion: Yishenzhuanggu mixture has sure curative effect in treating Senile Diabetic Osteoporosis, its mechanism may be improving BMD through descending blood sugar, improving biochemical marks, and so on. It is worth studying deeply and developing further. |
