Objective:Eyesight and diopter as observing target, to study the effects on juvenile myopia of optic area, auricular point and optic area with auricular point ,and to explore the synergic or antagonistic effect between optic area and auricular point. To discuss the mechanism primarily and provide the basis for the clinical treatment of juvenile myopia. Methods: 90 cases were chosen and randomly divided into three groups: the optic area group (30 cases and 57 eyes), the auricular point group(30 cases and 58eyes) , and optic area with auricular point group(30 cases and 58 eyes). All patients were cured for two periods of treatment, 12 days as one period. The changes of eyesight and diopter were observed. Results: Clinical research shows: the three methods are all proved to be effective on eyesight improvement, P<0.05. After mutual comparison of the eyesight betterment, the three groups have no significant difference, P>0.05。Compare the diopter before dispersing the pupil of before with after treatment, as to pseudomyopia and mixed myopia, the three groups have significant difference, P<0.01, while about genuine myopia, the alteration is unconspicuous, P>0.05, and the betterment has no distinctive difference after mutual comparison, P>0.05。Compare the myopia after dispersing the pupil of before with after treatment, the three groups have no difference, P>0.05。Conclusion: Optic area, auricular point , optic area with auricular point all have obvious curative effect on enhancing the eyesight of juvenile myopia patients. The effects of improving the eyesight of three groups are close, and the synergic or antagonistic effect between optic area and auricular point has not found. Optic area ,auricular point ,optic area with auricular point all can improve the ametropia due to adjust factor, but the three groups can not alter the ametropia caused by ciliary muscles paralysis.
