| Objective: This observation was to observe the immediate effect to the ST-T segment on electrocardiogram of patients with coronary heart disease by acupuncturing the heart area of auricular point those in syndrome of heart blood stagnation or turbid phlegm internal resistance. This project was based on the theory of the meridians corresponding with viscera, and it provided objective basis for choosing acupoints in clinic.Method: We differentiated patients of coronary heart disease with angina pectoris into different syndromes, and then according to syndromes, we recruited patients into two groups, one group of heart blood stagnation syndrome, the other group of turbid phlegm internal resistance syndrome, each had 23 cases, 46 in total. We acupunctured the heart area of auricular point and observed the changes of the ST-T segment of the II, III, avF , V4, V5 and V6 leads before and 10 minutes after acupuncture respectively.Result: There was significant difference of the ST segment in II, III and avF leads for each group before and after treatment (P<0.05), and there was no significant difference compared between two groups (P>0.05). However, there was a trend for the turbid phlegm internal resistance group to be more effective than the other. There was significant difference in turbid phlegm internal resistance group about T wave of II, III and avF leads (P<0.05), and no significant difference in another group (P>0.05). As to the ST segment and the T wave in V4, V5 and V6 leads, we could see significant difference of each group before and after treatment (P<0.05), and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05). And for the ST segment and the T wave in V4, V5 and V6 leads, there was a trend for the turbid phlegm internal resistance group to be more effective than the other. Conclusion: Acupuncturing the heart area of auricular point is effective in improving the myocardial ischemia of patients who had coronary heart disease with angina pectoris in syndrome of heart blood stagnation and turbid phlegm internal resistance. Turbid phlegm internal resistance group has a better effect than heart blood stagnation group on improving T wave of lateral heart wall. There is a trend that the turbid phlegm internal resistance group had a better immediate effect in improving the ST-T segment on electrocardiogram. |
