Objective:To investigate the etiologic risk factors, clinicopathological characteristics of the cervical carcinoma in young women.Methods: The clinical information (etiologic risk factors, clinical stages, symptoms, signs, histological types, pelvic lymph metastasis) of 37 cases of cervical carcinoma who were below 35 years old and treated in our hospital from 1995 to 2005 were analyzed retrospectively (group A) and compared with 106 patients with the same disease above 35 years old diagnosed in the same period (group B).Results: The percentage of the cervical carcinoma in group A was 20.0%(4/20)in 1990's and 27.8%(27/97)in 2000's.In group A, the mean first birth age, the lifetime number of sexual partners were higher, while the age at first intercourse, number of pregnancy and delivery were lowe(rP<0.05).
