Objective: To investigate the mortality and the incidence of cadiac events in 1 month, 6 months, 1 year and its influence factors, and to evaluate the current practice of medications that have been proven effective by evidence-based medicine in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS).Methods: 143 patients of ACS admitted to the 2nd affiliated hospital of Chongqing university of medical sciences from May,2004 to May,2005 were identified and followed up for 1 year, in order to find out the factors which affected the 1st month, 6th months, 1 year mortality and incidence of cadiac events, and the status of application of reperfusion and anti-platelet drug, angiotension-converting enzyme inhibitor(ACEI),βblocker, low molecular weight heparin (LWMH) and statins on those patients.Results: One hundred and forty three patients, including 55(38.5%) of acute ST segment elevated myocardial infarction(STEMI), 10 (7.0%) of non- ST segment elevated myocardial infarction(NSTEMI) , 78 (54.5%) of unstable angina pectoris (UAP) were enrolled in this study.Diabetes,hyper- tension, hyperlipaemia,obesity and smoking were the risk factors which...
