OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of anti-fibrotic in liver tissues induced by pig serum with the combination of rhein and tetramethylpyrazine and to elucidate its possible mechanismMETHODS: 48 male SD rats were randomized into five study groups:nomal contrast groups; model contrast group, rehin-treated group (RH 100mg/kg); tetramethylpyrazine-treated group (TMP 80mg/kg) and combined two drugs treatment group( RH 25mg/kg +TMP20mg/kg).All rats were given peritoneal injection of 0.5ml pig serum except nomal group two times each week. Rats of different treated groups were given different dose drugs by daily gavage for 16 weeks. The end of study, all rats were killed, The ALT,AST were assaied by omni-auto biochemical meter. HA,LN,PCШwere detected by Radioimmunity. The levels of Malondialdehyde(MDA) ,Superoxide dismutase(SOD) in hepatic tissue were determinated by chromatometry. Degrees of fibrosis were detected by histopathology under optical microscopy and electron microscopy. The...
