| Objective: To observe the effects of Comfeel plus transparent dressing in the prevention and treatment of rabbit phlebitis and explore its mechanism. Methods: Through conclusion and elimination, 24 healthy large-eared Japanese rabbits were randomly divided into three groups: the model group, the group smeared with 25 % MgSO2 and the group of Comfeel plus transparent dressing. Each group had 8 rabbits. The animal model of experimental phlebitis was estabilished by 20% mannitol infusion. Each group was given respective preventive measures five minutes after each transfusion. Specimen were taken 24 hours after transfusion and pathological examination was given to the ear vein of each group of rabbits. Four criteria were used to evaluate the effect of Comfeel plus transparent dressing, namely, the damage to the vein wall, the bleeding around the vein, the soakage of the inflammation cell and circulatory disorder.
