Retrospective Research On The Treatment Of EMA-treated By TCM Combined With Interventional Therapy Under Ultrasound

Endometriosis(EMS) is common and frequently occurring ailment as far as gynecological disease is concerned which incidence rate is very high. The rate of infertility caused by EMS is about 30%~40%, twenty times than that of the healthy women. And in unclear infertile women , it reaches to 70%~80%. Statistically .about 77%~82% patients who has the illness of infertility and PID are caused by EMS which is easier to recur. According to the report , the recurrence rate of the patients who has the operation of hysterectomia is 24.1 %, while in uterus conservation operation it is about 57.1%.Ovarian endometrioma occupies 35% of pelvic benign tumors, according to clinical manifestation and imageology. EMA is one of the factors why therapeutic efficacy of medicine is not excellent. In recent years, The tendency is to adopt low traumatic cyst-rejecting technique or cyst-suction technique. Interventional therapy becomes the first modus operandi because of its minus trauma and less post-operation adhesions. Clinically to consolidate the curative effects we give the patients continuentur remedia by influxing absolute alcohol and medication after punctuating to take sample under the ultrasound mediation to remove the focus of infection and cut down the recurrence rate. According to literature study , as to medication , therapeutic effects of integrated traditional and western medicine are obviously better than simply western medicine. And also traditional Chinese medicine can improve regional blood cirulation, relieve pains and adhension thereby it can prevent and treat EMA.This article aims directly at those 50 EMA patients who are carried on interventional therapy by simple absolute alcohol under ultrasound and givenLUO shi EMS formula orally. On the basis of retrospective summary research, doctors communicate with patients through telephone about subjective symptoms and health inquiry, and they also do the follow-up investigation after operation like menstruation recovering situation, pregnancy rate, and recurrence rate. With the method mentioned above clinical symptoms could be effectively relieved as well as lessened recurrence of cyst and provide clinical evidence for EMA. It shows its superiority as combined treatment of TCM and western medicine to treat EMS clinically , and also accepts Chinese drugs preparation binding western assisting means to explore the preferred way of EMS treatment.This research collects 50 cases , follow-up group lyear after operation is 30 cases , 2 years after operation is 20 cases , the recurrence rate is of no difference between them , but the former is higher than the latter in pregnancy rate. According to TCM type of syndrome grouping, in qi-stagnancy and blood stasis type there are 28 cases , 19 cases in phlegm and stagnation pattern, 13 cases in renal deficiency and blood stasis type. After statistics, it shows that age is related to TCM pattern of syndrome and recurrence rate: in 20~ group and 3O'~ group qi-stagnancy and blood stasis is the main type .while more than 40 years old renal deficiency and blood stasis type is the main one .The follow- up recurrence rate is lower comparing 1 year group and 2 year group who has been under treatment with 20~ years old group . While that of 30~group is the highest . The recurrence rate and pregnancy rate are of difference as followings: renal deficiency and blood stasis type>phlegm and stagnation combination> qi-stagnancy and blood stasis. That suggests that the therapeutic effect of Luo shi EMS formula is the best in treating EMA of qi-stagnancy and blood stasis type, and the worst in renal deficiency and blood stasis type. And it also has very significant curative effects in relieving pains , especially in the type of qi-stagnancy and blood stasis but it is not very curative in improving menstrual disorder.
