Objective: Based on two-dimensional gray-scale sonography, to utilize three-dimensional color power angiography (3D-CPA) and virtual organ computer aided analysis (VOCAL), this study analyzes two-dimensional gray-scale imaging and vascularity of eight sorts of musculoskeletal system tumors. The quantitative index of tumor vessel is also analyzed including: vascularization index (VI), flow index (FI) and vascularization flow index (VFI). This study evaluates the diagnosis and differentiation value of 3D-CPA and VOCAL to musculoskeletal system tumor. Methods: 108 cases of musculoskeletal system tumor were examined. 48 cases of the malignant group included 16 osteosarcoma, 8 fibrosarcoma, 10 malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH) and 14 metastatic tumor of bone. 60 cases of the benign group included 26 lipoma and/or fibrolipoma, 20 hemangioma, 8 neurilemmoma and 6 intramuscular myxoma. All cases did not receive radial remedy and chemical remedy before examining by sonography and were confirmed by pathology afterwards. It was examined with two-dimensional gray-scale sonography and 3D-CPA in muscle condition.
