| Chemiluminescence (CL) promises high sensitivity, wide dynamic range, simple instrument, easy to perform, fastness and easy to automation. Nowadays CL analysis has been recognized as one of hotspots and one of the most powerful techniques for use in analytical chemistry. This paper addresses the analytical methods for the determination of the active components and anti-oxidation capacity of plant by chemiluminescence using the following systems as examples to demonstrate the applications of CL analysis in the determination of the active components and anti-oxidation capacity of plant. 1) Ce(IV)-Rh6G-resveratrol system; 2) Ce(IV)-Rh6G-apigenin system; 3) K3[Fe(CN)6]-luminol-luteolin systems; 4) H2O2-luminol systems.The thesis is composed by two parts. In the first part, a brief review was given on the origin and function of plant active components.
