With the improvement of the materials and technology, interventional therapy of cardiac disease becomes more and more common in most medical centers at present However, as a trauma way of diagnosis and therapy, it may induce subclinical or clinical myocardial damage and inflammatory reaction. Therefore, interventional therapy of congenital heart disease may cause myocardial damage and inflammatory reaction. At the same time, the defects of ventricular septal have a nearer distance with conduction system of heart and heart block may occur after cardiac surgery. To aim directly at heart block, hormon is mostly used during the therapy. Whether the use of hormone may decrease the myocardial damage and inhibit inflammatory reaction after interventional closure of ventricular septal defects. It was not clear. The purpose of this study was to observe changes of cardiac troponin I (cTnI) and inflammatory reaction after interventional closure of congenital heart disease by measuring the serum concentration of cTnI, C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin-6(IL-6), interleukin-8(IL-8)at different times after intervention.
