Trace elements are related to our healthy closely. In recent years the research of trace elements in Chinese traditional medicines has attracted more and more attention. The international organization regulates the contents of heavy metal elements in the import medicines definitely. In order to participate the competition of international medicine market, we should refer these countries techniques and controlled standards, combining with the concrete situation of our country, to establish the country standard method and controlled standard of heavy metal elements in Chinese traditional medicines. Based on the above reasons, this paper studied the analysis of quantity and speciation of trace bismuth, arsenic and mercury in gynostemma pentaphyllum Makino using atomic fluorescence spectrometry.1. A simple and rapid method for the simultaneous determination of trace bismuth and Arsenic in Gynostemma pentaphyllum Makino with online intermittent flow injection system was established and developed. The instrumental conditions were optimized, reducing and masking agents, and the effect of acid medium were investigated in detail. The effects of coexisting elements were considered. In the given conditions, the linear equation are Bi: If=100.4017C+28.63, r=0.9999; As: If=26.5762C-152.029, r=0.9996, respectively.2. A sensitive method has been proposed for the determination of inorganic mercury and total organic mercury in Gynostemma pentaphyllum Makino by cold atomic fluorescence spectrometry. The experimental conditions that influence the atomic fluorescence signal intensity of Hg and the oxidization of organic mercury were investigated and optimized. The detection limit of the method for Hg was 0.03μg·L-1. The linear equation is If=13.61C-2.72, r=0.9990. The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of mercury speciation in real samples. The fluoroquinlones, an important class of chemotherapeutic agents which exhibit a broad spectrum antibiotic active against many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, are used clinically for the treatment of urinary infects with good penetration the infected sites, low toxicities and less side-action. Sparfloxacin is the fourth era of the broad spectrum fluoroquinlones with a long elimination half-life. Flow injection Chemiluminescence (CL) analysis has made great progresses in pharmaceutical analysis for its high sensitivity with a wide linear dynamic range, simple instruments, rapidity and being appropriate for on-line analyses. In this paper, Sparfloxacin was investigated by three different systems.
