Lung transplantation is the sole effective management for end-edge pulmonary diseases. This radical treatment for human emphysema, pulmonary fibrosis, and primary pulmonary hypertension at terminal stage as well is presenting novel consequences. In the past decades, lung transplantation had developed relatively slowly, without significant progress in the field. The root reasons why lung transplantation could not be carried out widely are extremely complex. Besides the related techniques as well as mental concepts, poor donated lung pool is the leading factor that sets back the clinical performance. It is the lack of donor lungs that leads to death of many patients on the list of waiting for lung transplant.
