The Difference Of Smooth Muscle And Elastic Fiber Berween Adult Prepuce And Children Prepuce And Effects Of Circumcision On Sexual Function

Objective: To study the difference of smooth muscle and elastic fiber between adult prepuce and children prepuce. To evaluate the effects of adult circumcision on sexual function.Method:(1)Adult prepuce and children prepuce were analysed respectively by immunohistochemistry and Weigert-stained. (2)Before circumcision, male sexual performance was evaluated using the Brief Male Sexual Function Inventory (BMSFI) and Intravaginal Ejaculatory Latency Time (IELT). The BMSFI evaluation and intravaginal ejaculatory latency time measurements were repeated after a postoperative interval of at least 4 months. The female partner's sexual function was evaluated using Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) before circumcision and after a postoperative interval of at least 4 months. The scores in the five main sections of the BMSFI and the intravaginal ejaculatory latency times and the scores of FSFI before and after circumcision were analyzed.
