CYF is a new chemical compound of cardiovascular activity, screened out from a serial of chemical compounds that might have anti-myocardial or anti-cerebral ischemia effect. In this paper, the anti-myocardial ischemia and anti-arrhythmia effects of CYF were studied. The results showed that CYF could apparently prolong the survival time of mice in normobaric hypoxia and obviously alleviate acute myocardial ischemia induced by pituitrin (Pit) and isoprenaline (Iso) in rats. CYF could not only effectively reduce the content of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and malondialhydride (MDA), but increase the superoxide disutase (SOD) activity in acute myocardial ischemia rats induced by Iso. Additionally, the coronary blood flow (CBF) was dramatically increased by CYF in isolated hearts of rats.It was also found that CYF could evidently protect mice from VF by chloroform and atrial fibrillation by calcium chloride-ACh. Moreover, it could significantly antagonize arrhythmia caused by barium chloride and adrenaline, which could prolong the arrhythmic beginning time and short the maintain time. In hemorheology study, the results indicated that plasma viscosity, erythrocyte electrophoresis time (EPT) and blood viscosity at high shear rate (HBV), middle shear rate (MBV) and low shear rate (LBV) were...
