The skin color can reflect the integrality of dermal barrier and the sensitivity of skin. The evaluation on skin color is helpful for estimating the efficacy of the cosmetic as well as the diagnosis and therapy of pigmentary dermatosis. Therefore it is of great importance to evaluate the skin color objectively in dermatology. So many instruments as the reflectance spectrophotometer, CIE L*a*b* trinal stimulative chromameter, narrow spectrum simplex reflectance chromameter and so on have been reported being put into use widely. There was few report about the similar instruments made in china. Objective: To compare the correlation, reproducibility and sensitivity of Saiwei imaging colorimeter and that of Minolta Chromameter CM-2600d( Minolta Camera Co, Ltd, Osaka, Japan ) and MexameterMX18 (Courage-Khazaka Electronic, koln, Germany). To discuss the value of the non-invasive evaluation on skin color of four kinds of pigmentary dermatosis by S.A.V imaging colorimeter.
