Analyzing On Essential Syndrome Of Traditional Chinese Medicina About Aplastic Anemia(AA)

Objective Under the guidance of the theory of traditional chinese medicine,we analyzed the syndrome of 220 patients who suffered from AA in retrospect to find out the essential syndrome of AA and discuss the differences between SAA and CAA.Then it can offer the basic theory for treating patients for AA.Methods In clinical study part ,adopting retrospective research method ,we selected 220 patients from DongFang hospital,DongZhiMen hospital and XiYuan hospital.All of them fit the diagnostic criteria of AA.The percentage of SAA and CAA was equal.In this research we probed the characteristic of sex,age,course of diseases,hemogram,clinical symptoms and syndrome,also the factors associated with syndrome.Results1,As to sex or age there is no notable distinction between SAA and CAA.But CAA's course of disease is longer than SAA's.The level of NEUT, HGB,PLT in peripheral blood in SAA is lower than those in CAA.2,The principal symptoms of AA are lassitude, haemorrhage, dizziness, cardiopalmus, lusterless complexion, chest distress and short breath.3,In both SAA and CAA,in whatever age segment,the frequency of occurrence of deficiency of vital energy and blood deficiency is more than other syndrome.There is no notable distinction between SAA and CAA.4,The frequency of occurrence of blood deficiency and toxic heat between SAA and CAA is different according to chi-square criterion.SAA's is more than CAA's.There is no notable distinction in the rest syndrome.5,The SAA's scores of clinical symptoms of both deficiency of vital energy and blood deficiency are more than CAA's.The distinction is notable.conclusion We consider deficiency of vital energy, blood deficiency and kidney deficiency as the main syndrome of AA . So the main therapy for SAA should reinforce qi and nourish blood.Also you can add some herbal medicine which can nourish kidney YING or warm up kidney YANG,or some other effects according to one's symptoms,hypistoma and pulse.When these patients are invaded by exogenous pathogen and appear symptomns of hemorrhage and febricity,you should heat-clearing and detoxicating, cooling blood to stop bleeding. The main therapy for CAA should invigorate the kidney, reinforceing qi and nourishing blood is subordinate.
