Descend of serum adiponectin parallel with certain progress of insulin resistance, that is the more insulin resistance, the more lower value of serum asiponectin .Lower value of serum adiponectin parallel with degree of insulin resistance and developing of diabete in patho-physiology . Of 50%-70% PCOS have insulin resistance. Some academicians come up with a theory , common soil, which believe that there are significantlly ralationship between insulin resistance and diabete ,metabolism syndrome, obesity, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases and PCOS . Pathogeny and pathogenesis of PCOS are still fully unclear . The most of scholar thought that PCOS is a disease of multifactorial inheritance after several years researching on PCOS. We want to learn whether pathogenesis of PCOS are related with variation and mutation of adiponectin gene ,ADIPOQ. The aim of our study was to investigete the frequency of T→C substitution of gene ADIPOQ exon 3 and to elucidate its role in the pathogenesis of the Polycystics Ovary Syndrome(PCOS).METHODS: Hundred patients with PCOS and 100 control women randomly selected were sdudied.Blood sample were obtained for DNA analysis and hormone Testimetes. PCR and RFLP analysis of genomic DNA and follicle counting of diovary were performed. And Statistics analysis for serum T and Fc of diovary between PCOS patients and control women by Independent-Samples T test in SPSS 11.5 were performed.RESULT: hundred patients with PCOS and 100 control women all did not carry the base pair substitution; there is a significant changein the serum concentration of T and Fc which is significantly higher in the polycystic patients than in normal women (P < 0.05)CONCLUSIONS: There are no relationship between polymorphism T→C SNP of gene ADIPOQ exon 3 and PCOS. Objective To investigate serum adiponectin levers in polycystic ovarian syndrome(PCOS) and the relationship between levers of serum adiponectin and twofactors ,such as clinical and endocrine characteristicMethods Two hundred and sixteen women with clinical diagnosed PCOS asPCOS group and 74 healthy women as control subjects were randomly enrolled in thisstudy. The fasting blood samples were obtained and all PCOS patients underwent OralGlucose Tolerance Test . They were detected such as serum adiponectin, insulin, glucose, triglyceride, cholesterol, testosterone, luteinizing hormone andfollicle-stimulating hormone. To compare levers of serum adiponectin in PCOS withcontrol subjects, and Statistics analysis for several factors detected above betweenPCOS patients and control women by Independent-Samples T test andcorrelation-regression analysis using SPSS 11.5 were performed. Results (1)Levers of adiponectin was (5.78 ±5.57) vs (6.85 ±3.72) in PCOS andcontrolsubjects, but no significantly meaning. (2) The levers of serum adiponectin presentedlower trend with BMI increasing according to an order of normal weight, over weightand obese in PCOS and normal control subjects. (3) In the PCOS group there weresignificantly lower of the serum adiponectin levers of those with IGT and H0MA-IR>4 .1 subjects than ones without IGT and HOMA-IR<4.1 subjects : ( 3.97±1.27) mg/L and ( 4.90±2.62) mg/L vs ( 6.50±3.11) mg/L and ( 6.82±4.40) mg/L individually. It presented significantly different( p<0.01). (4) There are comparation in serum test and clinical charactristic between PCOS group and control subjects: BMI was 25.44±4.55 vs 22.47±3.2,FINS was 11.32±8.63 (mIU /L) vs 6.79±3.79 (mIU/L),WHR was 0.86±0.05 vs 0.82±0.06,WC was 83.68±10.60 vs 72.84±8.90,T was69.01±28.08 (ng /dL) vs35.88±11.37 (ng /dL),W was 66.09±12.77 vs 58.57±8.87 and L H / FSH was 1.46±0.76 vs 0.52±0.26, The values were obviously higher in PCOS group than control group with a significantly difference. ( P < 0. 01). (5) In the PCOS group the adiponectin lever does not appear to be related to the factors of these serum test .Conclusion Lower adiponectin levers were observed in PCOS group than in control women . It did not present significantly different. The levers of serum adiponectin presented lower trend with BMI and HOMA-IR increasing in PCOS and normal control subjects. The serum adiponectin levers were lower in PCOS patients with IGT than without IGT . It appear to be related to the insulin resistance. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | PCOS, adiponectin gene, SNP, RFLP, adiponectin, BMI, insulin resistance | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
