ObjectiveTo explore the pathogenesis, clinical features and treatment of liver function damage accompanied by abnormal glucose metabolism.MethodsThe retrospective analysis was performed in 98 inpatients who were diagnosed as liver function damage accompanied by abnormal glucose metabolism in our hospital and the eighth municipal people's hospital during Jan. 2000 and Jan. 2005. The control group was the inpatients with only liver function damage. The relevant data were analysed by using SPSS software.Results1. 10 cases were male(58.8%), 7 cases were female(41.2%) in 17 patients with diabetic liver disease, the prevalence on 30-75 years of age and the mean age was 51.4 years old. 13 cases had fatty liver (76.5%) , 4 cases had drug induced liver disease (23. 5%) . 1 case had type 1 diabetes (5.9%), 16 cases had type 2 diabetes (94.1%) , the history of diabetes mostly was 1-5 years. 14 cases had not typical symptom of liver disease (82.4%). 9-16 cases had mild liver function damage(52.9%-94.1%), the blood glucose of 9 cases increased significantly(52.9%).
