An Interview On Hypertensive Patients And The Study Of The Effect Of Tiao Ping Kang Pill In These People

Hypertension is a disease featured by increased artery blood pressure, which has a relationship with genetics, environment and metabolism. Causing diseases of heart, brain and kidney, one of the most dangerous factors of disease of cardio-cerebral vessel, hypertension has damaged human' s health seriously. It is now an usual cardio vascular disease and the most popular disease in the world.First part: Literature StudyPresently, the problem the hypertensive people have is the body, psychology and life caused by high blood pressure. Also, the aim of blood pressure controlling has changed to improving the quality of life, preventing and converting left ventricle hypertrophy, and not affect cholesterol metabolism and other indexes.Hypertension belongs to "dizziness" and " headache" in the Traditional Chinese medicine, which believes that hypertension is deficiency in origin and excess in superficial. And the disease place is liver and kidney. Traditional Chinese medicine puts integrated concept in an important place in order to improve the human' s body in whole, and keep the balance of Yin-Yang .Second part: Clinical StudyObjective 1 Try to find out the quality of life in patients of hypertension.2 Study the effects of Tiao Ping Kang Pill in patients of hypertension.MethodDivide qualified people into two groups: treat group and contrast group. Under the same base treatment background, the treat one adds the Tiao Ping Kang Pill, but not the contrast one. Find out the differences between the two groups in the area of blood pressure control and quality of life.Result1 Compared with the contrast group, the treat one showed better efficacy in the aspects of physiological symptoms, physical symptoms ,sexual dysfunction, sleeping , vitality or energy, anxiety, hostility, sensitivity to relationship among persons, work status, which is of static significance, while in depression , forcing, daily life quality, cognitive ability, is of no static significance.2 The treat group indicated better disease symptom scores than the contrast one, and the difference was of static significance.3 In the groups of deficiency of yin and hyperactivity of yang syndrome and deficiency of yin and yang syndrome, riao Ping Kang Pill showed superior improvements than the groups of hyperactivity of liver fire syndrome and sputum and damp syndrome4 After 4 weeks, the total effective rate in decreasing blood pressure was 88.01% in the treat group rather than the other one which was 79.77%,and the difference was of static significance.ConclusionThe study confirmed that adding Tiao Ping Kang Pill while using western medicine could better improve quality of life in hypertensive patients, at the time of controlling blood pressure.
