It is the most dangerous to the people's health, so the study showed the causation of glioma and the evaluation about histological grade plays a key role in the estimaton of the patient's prognosis.Nuclear factor-kappaBp65 (NF-κBp65) is an important and the much delomorphic NF-κB composed of complex system that regulates the transcription of a many genes. The studies associated with NF-κB mostly focus on its functions in immune and inflammatory responses. But recent studies have shown that NF-κB plays an important role in the invasion and metastasis of tumor. More and more evidence in the study of glioma have proved correlating the losting control of the active NF-κBp65 with the occurrence and progress of the glioma. At the same time the study have proved which EGFR may activate NF-κBp65 by the PI-3/AKJ channel, but their relation are not known. In the course of the occurrence of glioma VEGF plays an important role too. VEGF is the biological behavior and substantial foundation, such as tumor form and progress,tumor's cell multiplication and metastasis,effusion from envascular component. In the field of representing the malignant grade's parameters of glioma, Ki-67 is much more than others, especially in the G2 -M stage (karyokinesis). In the middle of grades, Ki-67 may make it good to represent patient's prognosis.Based on upward studing, it is not reported in the domestic or overseas to discuss the patient,s prognosis and to correlate their with parameters of clinic for analysis and estimate. The purpose of this study was to investigate the expression of NF-Kbp65,EGFR,VEGF and Ki-67 in glioma and relation patient,s age,sex,histological grade,KPS grade,removal area,whether or not chemotherapeutics after operation with progno- sis. Discussing the biological character is to guide therapy of clinic and to look for the new idea.Methods1 The study population consisted of 48 patients(31 male,17 female) which received surgical therapy in TangShan Worker,s Hospital, between January 2003 and March 2004. Based on the classification standard of WHO,â… ,â…¡grade are 28 cases andâ…¢,â…£grade are 20 cases. 24 normal cases received decompression become the control experiment.2 The SP method was applied to examine the expression of the NF-κBp65,EGFR,VEGF and Ki-67 in glioma. The PBS liquid replaced the first antigen as the antitheses. 3 The data were shown by theχ2 and the logistic, the statistical analysis was described by SAS6.12 software.Results1 The positive expression rate of NF-κBp65 in normal brain tissue and in the glioma tissue were 12.00% and 62.50%, which was available (P<0.01) in the statistic. The expression of NF-κBp65 was closely correlated with histological grade and KPS score, but not correlated with age,sex and livability since two years after operation.2 The positive expression rate of EGFR in normal brain tissue and in the glioma tissue were 0.00% and 50.00%, which was available (P<0.01) in the statistic. The expression of EGFR was closely correlated with histological grade,KPS score and livability since two years after operation, but not correlated with age and sex.3 The positive expression rate of VEGF in normal brain tissue and in the glioma tissue were 12.50% and 37.50%, which was available (P<0.01) in the statistic.
