And lower back pain has often been caused by lumbar spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis, which seriously affect peoples daily life and works. In 1854, Kilan firstly posed the name of Lumbar Spondylolisthesis. we recognized this disease more comprehensive which accompanied with the establishment of diagnostic radiology principle and the improvement of spine internal fixation device and technical. The reasons which caused clinical symptom by Lumbar Spondylolisthesis : vertebral body glide forward directly compress coccygeal nerve ; antedisplacement of superior articular process intrude intervertebral foramina to compress nerve tissue; fibroplasias after interarticularis post trauma to compress and stimulus peripheral nerve ; intervertebral disk cataplasia..The therapeutic principle of spondylolisthesis, to ensure fusion for reverting anatomical sequence to relieve pains . since 70 era of last century , pedicle srew technical increasingly maturate and generally application, lumbar spondylolysis operation changed fastly. we investigate 13 patients with lumbar spondylolisthesis,who suffer from severe radicular symptoms,were treated surgically with total vertebral platedecompression,we considered that it is a ideal operation technical.OBJECTIVETo investigate the effects and indications of posterior interbody fusion and pediclesrew system in lumbar spondylolisthesisMETHODSEighteen patients with lumbar spondylolisthesis,who suffer from severe radicularsymptoms,were treated surgically with total vertebral plate decompression, interbodyfusion by bone graft and pedicle screw system. To view the condition ofpositioning,fusion rate,objective effects and complications.RESULTSThe follow-up period was 8 to 48 months.Complete reduction was achieved in ten parients,Mero reduction in three patients.According to the evaluation on the effects,5 cases were excellent, 5 good and 3 fair. CONCLUSIONreduction rate and bone graft of the patients are very high with posterior lumbar interbody fusion and internal fixation by pedicle screw system .Clinical effects is content.And the treatment with simple bone graft for interbody fusion can save therapeutic expenses and obtain same fusion rate as cage.
