Clinical Study On YiQiBuShenHuoXue Decoction In The Treatment Of Children Bronchial Asthma

Objective:This study was performed to observe the result in treating young child asthma patients with YiQiBuShenHuoXue decoction plus hormone or hormone alone through the method randomized controlled trial(RCT). The goal of the study is to provide theory basis for the effective treatment in young child asthma by YiQiBuShenHuoXue decoction, also provide clinical evidence for the advantage of supplementary of treating and protecting diseases by the method of integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) plus Western Medicine.Methods:53 suit patients coming from department of pediatrics outpatient service and department of pediatrics hospital ward were divided into controlled group and contrast group randomly, the controlled group was given YiQiBuShenHuoXue decoction plus hormone, and the contrast group was given ormone alone. The clinical appraisal will be implement before treatment, 2 weeks later, 4weeks later, 8 weeks later, and the end 12 weeks later. Observe and record the change of coughing, phlegm quantity, respiting, heavy breathing crying, the limited activity, night sleep, the function of the lung.Results:The outcome of the clinical curative effect of the controlled group and contrast group is obvious, the total effectiveness is 92.31% and 74.07% respectively, through pairs test, the outcome had significant difference (P＜0.05). The two group improved the coughing, phlegm quantity, respiting, heavy breathing crying, the limited activity, night sleep, the function of the lung togrther, after X2test, thedifferenceoftheindexes mentioned above of the two groups were difference (P＜0.05).Conclusion:The method of YiQiBuShenHuoXue decoction plus hormone can remarkablely improve the indexes of respiratory tract symptom, the body drafts, the lung function, the total effectiveness of the controlled group surpassed the contrast group, they had statistics significance(P＜0.05). The study applied combination therapy to young child asthmapatients, proved that YiQiBuShenHuoXue decoction had definite and satisfactory treating and protecting function, can supplement Western Medicine, so by this way, the curative effect and the patients' living quality can be improved.
