Clinical Study On The Effect Of Different Syndrome Types With Catgut Implantation At Acupoint On Treating Simple Obesity

Objective: The article was to evaluate the clinical curative effect of catgut implantation at acupoint on simple obesity of different syndrome types and discuss which type has the best effect on.Method: 137 cases were selected, and were divided into five syndrome types according to syndrome differentiation based on traditional Chinese medicine. Comparing their symptom, physical sign and laboratory index after treatment with them before treatment.Result: After two courses, there was significant difference of the symptom, physical sign and laboratory index between the five types, compared with themselves or either of the five types. The total effective rate of scarcity of spleen and damp blocking syndrome was 86.67%, of heat in the stomach and damp blocking syndrome was 96.67%, of liver depression and qi stagnation syndrome was 48.15%, of scarcity of spleen and kidney syndrome was 69.23%, of yin asthenia and interior heat syndrome was 41.67%. Conclusion: The effect of catgut implantation at acupoint on type of heat in the stomach and damp blocking syndrome is the best and on type of yin asthenia and interior heat syndrome is the worst, the order of curative effect of five types from good to bad is heat in the stomach and damp blocking syndrome, scarcity of spleen and damp blocking syndrome, scarcity of spleen and kidney syndrome, liver depression and qi stagnation syndrome, yin asthenia and interior heat syndrome.
