Study On The Comparison Among Different Processing Methods In The Producing Area About Rehmannia Glutinosa

The processing of Chinese medicinal crops in the producing area is one of thecausative factors of genuineness, is an important factor of "Good Agriculture Practice"(GAP), and has important meaning to ensure the quality of the famous-region drugs.Owing to the fact that there are some disadvantages such as without washing, backwardsof dry method, the way tediousness and so on in the traditional processing in theproducing area about Rehmannia Glutinos, the author considers that it is necessary tocompare the processing of Rehmannia Glutino by different processing methods, and findout the best one.This paper selected fresh Rehmannia Glutinos harvesting at the same time, processedby drying in the suninsolation, baking, stereo stoving, cyclical hot blast,compared of theprocess; selected the first class standard, the second class standard, the third classstandard of Rehmannia Glutino as experiment material; Determined the water content, theash content, the heavy metal content, the extractive content, the catalpol content by theway in the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China (2005) ; Compared the watercontent, the ash content, the extractive content, the catalpol content according to the officestandards;Compared the heavy metal content, according to Green Trade Standards ofImporting & Exporting Medicinal plants & Preparations (2001) ;And compared thesignificant difference among them. Results show:1. The processing by cyclical hot blast is scientific and more cleanly, adapts toindustrialization, scaled and flow process.2. The technical parameter of the process by cyclical hot blast is stability, timeconsumption is shotest, but the energy consumption is higher a little.3. The appearance of the product is jet black, densification and lubrication. It hasblack-brown gloss in the cross-sectional area, and it has good sapor. The sensory qualitiesof the produce proceeesd by cyclical hot blast are better than those by traditional way.4. The water content of he produce proceeesd by cyclical hot blast is stability,accords with the office standards.5. The ash content of he produce proceeesd by cyclical hot blast is lower than otherobviously, ccords with the office standards6. The extractive content of he produce proceeesd by cyclical hot blast is higher thanother, and the difference is obvious.7. The heavy metal content of he produce proceeesd by cyclical hot blast is lowest, accords with Green Trade Standards.8. The catalpol content of he produce proceeesd by cyclical hot blast is higher thanother, and the difference is obvious.The processing by cyclical hot blast not only assured the superior quality ofRehmannia Glutinos, but also the produce quality is better than traditional method. Itaccord with the standardization of GAP.The processing by cyclical hot blast cansubstitute the traditional method as the criterion processing method of RehmanniaGlutinos.
