The research of chemical composition and fingerprint were two kinds of methods for base research of medicinal material. Medicinal chemistry research i n search of medicinal active ingredients, to explore new drugs, the study of ph armacological effects and medicinal herbs has guiding significance for qualitativ e analysis etc. Medicine fingerprint analysis can be used to identify the medici nal material base and quality of different batches medicines, and quantitativeme dicinal ingredients. So far, domestic and foreign researchers have mainly focuse d on the study of plant medicinal materials, rarely involved the study of anima l medicinal materials. In view of the above situation, we choose authentic Chin ese animal medicine Centropus sinensis and Polyrhachis vicina Roger as main research object to carry out exploration research,. therefore, this paper made up for the blank in the field of animal medicine research in Guangxi. And this wi ll promote the development of Guangxi’s traditional Chinese herbs.The subjects of this study for the animal medicine Centropus sinensis and Polyrhachis vicina Roger, orbiting Centropus sinensis chemical composition analysis and study of different extracts in vitro antitumor activity; Polyrhachis vicina Roger was analysis by using fingerprint.The thesis consists of six chapters. The first chapter is introduction. The second chapter is about the research of Centropus sinensis medicinal chemical extraction and separation. The third chapter is the analysis of chemical composition and structure identification. The fourth chapter is about the Centropus sinensis medicinal materials of different extracts in vitro antitumor activity. The fifth chapter is Polyrhachis vicina Roger medicine HPLC fingerprint research. The sixth chapter is amino acid fingerprint study of Polyrhachis vicina Roger medicine.The Centropus sinensis chemical composition were analyzed by several me thods such as silica gel column chromatography, D101 macroporous resin, Seph adex LH-20 column chromatography, HPLC and other different separation methods. Total 18 compounds were isolated and 10 compounds chemical structures w ere identified. All ten identified compounds were isolated from Centropus sinen sis for the first time. They were as follows: Cis-13-docosenoic acid; Dilinolein;Cis-9-octadecenoic acid; Cis-17-hexacosenoic acid; 1-Oleic palmitic acid; 1-Olei c-3-O-glycerol palmitic acid; Cis-10-nonadecenoic acid; 1,5-dihydro-1-methyl-2-a mino-imidazol-4-one sodium; 1-O-glycerolpalmitic acid; Proline.Polyrhachis vicina Roger were studied by HPLC and amino acid fingerprin t. 10 common fingerprint peaks were calibrated in HPLC analysis, 15 common amino acids fingerprint peaks were calibrated in amino acid analysis. Meanwhil e, we found that both methods have good precision, stability and repeatability.The two methods are available for researching quality control of proposed Poly rhachis vicina Roger medicine.
