Helicobacter Pylori And Relationship With Chronic Gastritis

Objective: To investigate relationship between density of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) and degree of gastritis. Study relationship between density of Helicobacter pylori and activity of gastritis. Make profit for clinician to select appropriate Hp therapy regimens. Method: Patients with epigastric symptom are ingested ¹⁴C-urea in a capsule, and breath samples are collected for detection of the ¹⁴CO₂. Hp positive patients enrolled in this study (118 patients). After gastroendoscopy, different signs including erythema, erosion, and mucosa atrophy were noted. Histological diagnoses were classified as chronic inflammation, polymorph nuclear neutrophil infiltration, glandular atrophy, intestinal metaplasia, dysplasia, erosion. Correlation between density of Helicobacter pylori and degree of gastritis and activity were analyzed. Result:â‘ There are statistic relationship between density of Helicobacter pylori and degree of gastritis.( x²=27.621, P=0.000),â‘¡There are statistic relationship with density of Helicobacter pylori and degree of activeness of gastritis ( x²=62.774, P=0.000).â‘¢There are statistic relationship with density of Helicobacter pylori and gastric Atrophy( x²=15.450, P=0.017),â‘£There are no statistic relationship with density of Helicobacter pylori and intestinal metaplasia(P=0.619),. Conclusion:â‘ As can be seen from the study, we believe that the density of Helicobacter pylori related to severity of the gastritisâ‘¡density of Helicobacter pylori related to severances of activeness of gastritis,â‘¢density of Helicobacter pylori related to severances of gastric Atrophyâ‘£There are no relationship with density of Helicobacter pylori and intestinal metaplasia.
