Intention And Extention Of Yin-Yang Theory In The Yellow Emperor's Internal Canon Of Medicine

Purpose:Based on the background of chinese troditional culture, this thesis expounds Yin-Yang theory in terms of imagery thinking.By reviewing classical meanings of Yin-Yang in The Yellow Emperor's Internal Canon of Medicine,this thesis puts forwards intention and extention of Yin-Yang,explains the correlation between Ying and Yang.Methods:By introduceing culture-philosophy, philology, this dissertation mainly adopts theoricl discussing as research methods . Results: Imagery thinking being served as the leading part,the dissertation approaches and studies Yin-Yang theory in TCM: First,it analyses the forming background and the main thoughts of Yin-Yang theory, points out that Yin-Yang means space-time is the underlying causes that it can be used to explain anything.Second,it analyses the essential application of Yin-Yang theory in The Yellow Emperor's Internal Canon of Medicine. Finaly,it reexamines closely some important theory problems in Yin-Yang theory and puts forward many creative viewpoints so as to correct many drawbacks of study on Yin-Yang theory at present as well as understand accurately the profound connotations of Yin-Yang theory .Conclusion :The intention of Yin-Yang is defined space- time structure .The extention of Yin-Yang includes diferent phenomenons brought by Qi activity that can be studied using Yin-Yang space- time structure as frame of reference.
